From Santa Teresa, New Mexico, follow NM-136 south to the Santa Teresa Port of Entry — a quieter alternative to the busier El Paso crossings.
Cross into Mexico at San Jerónimo and clear the aduana inspection point, pressing the button for the red/green light.
If needed, stop at the Banjercito and INM windows right at the border complex to complete your vehicle permit and tourist permit paperwork.
Continue on the Libramiento (bypass) toward Casas Grandes highway or Juárez, depending on your route south.
